Loading Screen Freezes

Hello there,
this is my first time posting here, and for a good reason.
i just hope someone can help.


after unlocking idyllshire for the first time, i would often get stuck in the loading screen when teleporting to idyllshire.
any other teleport did not freeze my pc.
i switched to a different GPU and clocked my CPU down a bit, which didnt help either.
i closed steam and tried from launching the game without any other background programmes running.
none of that helped.

i upgraded to win10, removed all drivers, swapped my radeon card for an nvidia one, and things seemed to have settled down.

but since the last patch, ill get loading screen freezes whereever i go.
be it dungeons, trials, limsa lominsa or gridania, it doesnt matter and the freezes occur randomly.
it just wont stop and has been going on for a while now.

its probably no performance issue, since i run the game at 1440p, maxed out, 45 fps in highly populated areas, 60+ fps in dungeons, raids etc.
drivers and the game client are cleanly installed on win10, the client is running the Dx11 version.

I also get screen freezes. At the title screen.

I am also facing this issue:
Whenever i try to teleport to any location, the screen goes black and unresponsive. All of that after upgrading to win10

GPU: GTX 970 Ti
CPU: AMD FX 6350 4,5 Ghz
RAM: 8GB DDR3
OS: Windows 10

Update: Even with a clean install, i'm facing the problem

try to fiddle with some settings:
set your game to windowed mode, and set the resolution to the same one youre using in fullscreen.
then go back to fullscreen mode and see if it still keeps freezing.

if it does, try to play in borderless windowed, and see results.

the window resolution thing seems to have fixed it for me.
i had no freezes in 2 days for now.

You got latest nvidia drivers and stuff? I know there was a problem with the ones windows 10 come with and the ones nvidia use. I think it was fixed later though?

There are quite a lot of threads about crashes on DX11, just going back to DX9 fixes most of them, that sucks though. SE must to do something.

I got the loading freeze on my mom's laptop, but never on my home pc. Do you meet, recommended system specs?
