Unable to find events on lodestone

I just created an event for Halloween. Not only does my event not show up when I do a search, but no events show up at all, even when I do an "All Worlds" search with a time frame between today and the end of the year. I find it difficult to believe that out of the hundreds of thousands if not millions of active players, that no one has scheduled any events on any servers for the rest of the year (especially given that I, specifically, created such an event). I can, of course, access my own event from my home page by clicking on my events... but if I can't find it through the search, it defeats the purpose of posting the event publicly. It seems the search function needs to be fixed a bit.
