Lv50 SMN Quest

I just reached lv50 on my first class: SCH/SMN. I'm currently maining SCH, but sometimes SMN comes in handy if I want to do more DPS. I finished my lv50 SCH quest quite easily, with not much trouble. This SMN quest, though, I can already tell is going to be a pain in behind. I died twice already, but I know I'm just going to die even more if I don't know what I'm supposed to be doing.

So I'm looking to you for advice on how to beat it. Which pet should I use for it? Even Titan dies too quickly. I have the lv45 gear I was given on the lv45 quest and a lv44 green body and belt piece. And a lv49 weapon.

Go buy the lvl 50 110 gears and u will able to solo it :)

I don't know what gear that is. Whichever gear it is, I would not have the gil for it. I'd like advice on how to beat it if possible. I know there is a way.

You're undergeared. Go buy gear with poetics from mor dhona or have someone craft you item level 115 gear and you'll be able to beat it without trying.

lol, I don't know why people are saying you need better gear. Level 45 quest reward with an ilvl45 torso is enough.

Have Titan- egi tank Belias and burn down the Tristan. Belias will come over to you to use a one shot aoe, make sure to dodge it.
Once you dps the boss down enough, he will dismiss Belias. You can switch to Garuda or Ifrit at this point. Kill the adds as they spawn and dodge Tristan's AOEs. Keep burning him down and you win

The problem is about getting new gear, is that I'm a FRESH lv50 on my FIRST class (I haven't even beat the MSQ for ARR yet nor do I have Heavensward), and I really don't want have to skip out of the lv50 SMN till I do get more gear. And I'm wanting to gear SCH first since it's supposed to be my main.

Okay I just tried what was suggested and so far didn't work. Titan still died too fast. I have no idea how far he as to be so that he would dismiss the summon. He also heals himself. >.< I also went ahead and equipped the other lv50 gear I was given (which I forgot I had).

Have you tried using Sustain on Titan? When I did this quest back in ARR, I didn't have much in the way of gear either. Basically, the zone is your playground with this quest. Use all the tools you have at your disposal, including throwing a few Physicks at Titan if need be.
