Disconnected with excellent internet connection

My husband called the support helpline and they agreed that we have a game bug and not a connection issue, anytime I log in to my main character Aria Le'fae in west thanalan I get the disconnecting icon on my name, I then cannot interact with anything I.e. NPC's, enemy's, teleporting, returning, and finishing quests. It all started 08/17/2015 at 21:00 when it kicked me off in the middle of the quest "The Threat of Perplexity". I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game, checked the router and contacting support all to reach the conclusion it's an in game bug.
