Transferring FFXIV from PS3 to PS3

Yes, I'm playing on PS3, but it's all I got right now. My brother's PS3 (he wants it back in his room) to be exact. My brother doesn't play so you know. I would upgrade to PS4 if I had the money, but I don't and don't know when I'd have the money. Anyway, soon I hope to buy a used PS3 and hopefully for cheap. The problem is I don't know how to transfer FFXIV from his to the one I buy. Would I have to rebuy the game? I hope not. :/ Can I just log into my PSN and it should have my save?

Not sure if right place or not. Don't post here often. I'd post this on PS forums, but I don't think they answer questions much. I've tried when I first started playing almost 2 months ago.

Yeah most of your data is saved on the servers so as long as you log in with the PSN code you register your game with it should still be there. You just need to re-download the client again via disc or go to your download history and re-download from there.

The only things that aint saved is like your Maccros, cross hot bar config, and a few other mainly menu stuff but more important things like story progress, items, weapons etc should still be there when you log in on the other PS3. I think if you go into your character save data settings you can transfer that over too. Not 100% as I never done that before.

Don't have to worry about maccros, since I don't have any. Cross hot bar, I guess I'd have to fix when the time comes.
Though re-downloading the client, means probably having to wait a whole day to play again, but I can live with it.

We'll just have to see when I do get one.
