I don't know whenever this idea is good or not but here's my idea about new ability for AST:
Royal Road II--- Instant.... 60s CD
Return the currently drawn arcanum back to your deck to enhance the active sect.
Diurnal Sect: increase 25% spell-based hp restoration and 2% attack speed.
Duration: 15s
Nocturnal Sect: increase 15% spell-based hp restoration and 6% attack speed.
Duration: 15s

The class is supposed to be about buffing others, not yourself. Sect enhancement is a neat idea though but I wouldn't like it to be implemented this way.

AST is not as nearly as good as you keep implying.
And don't refer to the AST class as "we" because you are clearly NOT a part of the AST team, even if you love the job (which i highly doubt since it almost look like you want to destroy it and keep it weaker than the rest.) you must admit that what AST need is to be unique, and thats NOT what AST is atm. -
