Having my toon playing a Piano or a Flute is definitely something I want to see in-game.. = )
And also since most likely the Bard succeeding job quest would definitely be related to music.. It would be nice to have the Bard job at higher level can get an option to change his traveling music instrument.

I loved Archeage's system. That is actually one of the things I miss most :( Tons of instruments to choose from, and you could make your own music sheets if you wanted to. On the flip side of that, I loathe the system in GW2. So damn laggy and it feels more limited.

This would be awesome!!! Mabinogi had a system like this too, using MML input where players could create scrolls and play songs they wanted. They could also play together as an ensemble, and even put a tip box in front. It's different from the idea of a MIDI keyboard, but just the ability to play instruments ingame would be fantastic.

Archeage used MML too - I would love to have that in game. I spent SO much time making music. Sadly, I don't imagine SE would make anything quite that complex (?) if they added instruments to game. :(

I would love MML support. :'3 making music was awesome!

If this happens, please add a separate volume slider so those that want to can mute in game instruments.

That said, this would be awesome.
