Love this game, buying a better pc

Hi I'm currently playing on a i3 laptop with a intel 4000 graphics chip. I want to buy a desk top but don't know what to look for to make my performance better. i currently get 5-13 fps in game with settings turned off or low.

looking at a couple PC to boost the performance up and these and a couple i have narrowed it down to:

is the highest i can go ( a little higher then i want to pay)

odd looking system but the price is right

kinda in the middle price wise

I really would like to play this game with high FPS and with some setting bumped up. will any of these systems be a good buy for what I'm looking for?

I'm surprised an intel4000 will run this o.o

Any of those machines should do pretty well. For reference, I was running XIV on a GTX4..60? 470? One of the 400 series cards and not the best one, anyways. Still had close to max settings without issue.

Your third option does have a bit more ram. While 4GB is plenty for XIV, it doesn't hurt to have more for both future proofing and just in case you want to have a lot running at once (Netflix on a second screen, assorted chat programs, etc etc. Nothing that's a ton on its own but can add up). Your first option has an SSD, which won't have a lot of space for programs but will give you lightning fast load times. And it has an extra drive for bigger/extra stuff.

That was something i was wondering, if i save ffxiv to the SSD will that make the load times better teleport or changing zones? on my current laptop it can take almost a minute or more if im going to a city

It should be much much faster. Of course, even a regular hard drive will be faster than 1 minute.

This happens less and less now that SSDs are becoming so prevalent, but for example... on my current build, sometimes I'll load into a dungeon or something and I'm the only one there. The others haven't even loaded in to start the "viewing cutscene" part yet.

thats whats up. im just wanting to play this game lag free and beutiful. Ninja gets hard when i lag and mess up inputs

Hehe yeah. Well, like I said... Any of those will leave you better off than my previous build was, which still ran XIV pretty well.

I'm not sure what your budget situation is exactly... but if you were just trying to be frugal... I'd say just get the top end one, have a blast and don't look back. If your budget is limited because of actual finances.. any of those three will be night and day compared to a lappy running an i4000 and I think you'll be pretty happy.
