Urth's Fount Help
Just can't seem to make any progress with this duty at all. I'm a Healer, and I'm really struggling keeping everyone alive during the bleeding/ Gungnir phase. The tanks need constant monitoring for HP in case of Sanngetail while they're already losing it at a rate of knots, DPS drop like flies the second I turn my attention to the tanks, and I'm throwing Medica IIs + Divine Seal/ Regens up but they're not doing enough to counteract the damage taken. Tried Esunaing the bleed debuff but it seems to come back as soon as I've cleansed it, and by then several DPS have died. Tried leaving it, makes the damage worse. If we manage to get over halfway through, my mana gives out. It feels like there's just too much damage to keep up with.
I've read this fight is heavily dependent on the healer, and I feel embarrassed every time we fail. Any advice for getting through this?

The tank has to have a cd up. You can focus target to see the cast bars, which helps. As whm I constantly reapply stoneskin. This can get expensive until you learn to predict the tank buster. What is your co-healer doing? If it's a scholar are they repositioning their fairy when it gets knocked to the back of the room? A med 2 should be enough to keep everyone alive through aoe damage. If they are out of range ask them to move in and not loiter at the wall. If they are getting clipped by avoidable damage there's not much you can do. E4E helps a lot and I reapply it on cd.

The DPS should also be using any self-healing moves if they have them. Second Wind + Bloodbath can take a significant amount of pressure off the healers during Gungnir.

The Bleed debuff applied from the Einherjar attack can be cleansed, but the Bleed debuff from the Gungnirs can't. It's not only a heal intensive fight, but also HUGELY dependent on DPS. They have to not only meet the strict DPS check (strictest of all the 2.0 trials) but they also have to get those Gungnirs down as soon as possible. The longer they are alive, the more the DPS are going to find themselves dead from the Bleed. DPS must also avoid 100% of all other damage in these phases because the healer has to focus on party heals and tank heals, and won't have the time nor MP to deal with the special butterfly who likes to stand in Hall of Stone.

A tip which seemed to work for me is Mark the Gungirs in a kill order then all DPS can stay close together then for some Adlso and maybe a emergency Cure III. While the DPS is attack the Gungirs, have the MT attack the last Makred Gungir. That should help DPS them down a little quicker.

Tell the dps to mark the Gungnirs and focus on attacking 1 at a time while you follow them spamming Medica/Indo/Helios. All the while you also have to keep mt's hp above 80% and dodge the AoEs. Don't bother cleansing the bleeding cause it'll be MP consuming and time wasting, if you have party leech then maybe it's worth a try tho.
If you have failed dozen of times there, trust me, the aoe pattern will be so predictable that you know where you'll have to stand and run to for the next 3 sec. Oh, avoid staying on the center of the arena, just my 2 cents.

I hear the bleed is negligible in umsynced, maybe try it at 60 if you just want a clear?

doing it with 60 is pretty easy, I just killed it with 1 tank, 1 heal, 1 dd...lol

It's really group dependent at 50 if people constantly derp and need the healers to be a babysitter then it's a struggle. I finished this on day one in DF on the second try the group was really good. A few things took us by surprise on the first pull but then we got it down. Just takes a group working together. Learn to predict that tank buster I can't remember the rotation to it I think it's every 3 attacks then tank buster and right after the bleed debuff hits Odin will do it too. Just keep HoT up,buff the Tank, esuna bleed when you can (It's good if Healers communicate on this and pick top of the list or bottom to start with each taking responsibility for one Tank because you should remove it off Tanks first.) and dodge stuff and it should go down unless DPS is too low but that's not your fault.

Another tip since I see your CNJ is as soon as you see the bleeds go out, Divine Seal + Medica II. That should help immensely.
