Optimal Level

Has anyone checked the new stats on gear based on your level?

I have to do more trying of things, but several of my LS mates have claimed that if you are even 5 levels below or ABOVE a gear, that you basically get zero stats from it now.


Can someone confirm/deny?

Not quite zero, but pretty close - more like 10% of the stats.

being above optimal does not zero the stat bonuses, I think the greyed out "optimal level:" text is mainly to remind you that it's time to upgrade
