Are getting as bad on the forums as RMT is in game. When I hit new posts and see half a page of RAF spam that seems a bit much. Isn't there a way to consolidate them or something? I feel sorry for any new players looking for advice.
P.S. I think I put this in the wrong forum. Should probably go in website feedback?
I was thinking exactly the same thing.. and even when there is a newbie asking a few questions, every reply has recruitment code included.
These people are like vultures, circling around poor newbies.
There was a thread asking the moderators to moderate it... but it seems they've opted not to.
Ever since they added the new rewards (mounts) people are going to harass every nub they see to use "their" code instead of someone elses.
I had some random guy in Gridania, when I was on my alt and she still had the newbie sproutling icon, ask me if I was a new player and if I would mind using his RAF code before I registered my first 30 days... I was like.. sorry bro, I'm not a nublet. (Over 360 days of payed game time)
It's all over the Steam forums, can't even be bothered to go there any more. In the 'New Player Help' forum here it's terrible. Imagine actually needing help as a new player, you're drowned in a sea of people spamming their stupid codes. Then we have the people who now spam shouts in the starting cities in the busy areas(+1 Blacklist).
'Recruit a friend'. These vultures don't have any, that's why it's getting spammed.
Then maybe Square should have handled this thing better. I mean, what did they think people would do when they took the boss of Coil T5 and made it a rideable mount, which will no longer be available soon? Everyone wants it and I sure as heck want it too!
