I am trying to find correct translations for lion and black magic as I am wanting to create an au'ra magic dps character. Most of the romaji translators are giving me many options for both. Anyone who knows Japanese or romaji etc able to help me out? Does Raion Yojutsu work following square enix naming guidelines for the more magic based au'ra?

Kuro maho seems to be proper modern translation for the individual words black and magic, and not romaji for the concept black magic? If I'm understanding it correctly? Raion has a cooler ring to it than just using the word lion, and seems to follow the Au'ra naming conventions
Then you have the option of kuromajutsu (black/dark arts) and jujutsu (thaumaturgy in this game) ... I just googled this. In the FF series, black magic (the ability type) is kuromaho
Romaji just means you're typing it in the latin alphabet FYI.
AKA saying "Kuromahou" is romaji and 黒魔法 is not.
