In-Game crafting/gathering %'s

Just posting this cause I have noticed this over the course of playing this game for s long as I have. The %'s that are shown are the game are NOT right, any way I have done the math, the %'s arent correct. For instance, HQ'ing 6 times in a row @1%, then NQ'ing 4-6 times in a row @95%+. This happens WAY to often on crafting for it to be correct %'s. Same thing for gathering, I like to gather, and have noticed that unless the % is exactly 100% you have a decent chance to "miss" no matter the %. @96% I literally just missed an entire node, all attempts.

This kind of thing shouldnt happen with the frequency it does. Happens alot, I probably notice it alot cause I gather/craft ALOT. I understand the whole "rnjesus" aspect, but it's kinda messed up when things like I have mentioned happen on a regular basis. It's not game breaking by any means, it's just one of those things that gets to be a little frustrating.

Just kinda sucks when you have pretty good equipment for crafting and gathering (i know crafting is more along the lines of "what skills you use" and "how unlucky or lucky" you are when doing the craft, and should finish @100% etc) and making a craft NQ with high % or missing attempts even though very high % just sucks lol. (i expect NQ's on crafting if not 100%, and expect to miss on "occasion" gathering)

My point I am attempting to make is that percentages are NOT correct, any way you do the math, it just dont add up.

Just wanted to put this in the suggestion thread in hopes it may be changed in the future, that percentages shown are actually right.

I hear this complaint regularly, and while I couldn't prove otherwise in the same way you can't prove that the percentages listed are wrong, I can say that any time I've bothered to actually record my data it added up. I've only done this with gathering since it's not so painful to keep track of a few hundred swings. Anytime I've done this it's been within 5% of the rate listed, which seems more than acceptable considering 300 swings at most. Sometimes it will irk me that I get 2 consecutive misses @95% accuracy, but then I think about the fact that I haven't missed in a long time and statistically I should miss 5 of every 100 anyway.

yeah know what ya mean, but since i have posted this, I have missed 3/4 attempts @96% 4 different times gathering aurum regis sand, missed 2/4 a few times, and typically have missed at least 1 every other node, just irritating lol but what can ya do right?

I never trust the % stated...se can put any % they choose into the game , doesnt actually mean its correct. sneaky sneaky se
