UK (GMT) player seeking a "better" server.

I'm currently on Odin and it just seems dead minus the few close-knit raid groups and people farming old content half the time. Then throw in the french who are mostly terribad and nobody barely ever attempts to even PF Alexander Savage. Getting an actual static is also proving slow-impossible.
I'm wondering how busy PF / raiding is on Gilgamesh in say, EST afternoon time. (GMT evenings.)?
I've played on NA servers in the past and think in general prefer the atmosphere + fact everyone understands fluent english. But the timezones can be a trip-up for me finding a raid group.
Is there much of a UK playerbase or just generally people that play a bit earlier in the day? I tend to play until around between 1pm til 9pm EST at latest.
Have A1s downed, DRK main, capable NIN alt.
