More wildlife, please!

I really wish that there would be more wildlife in the game. This was talked about in 2012 on the forums and even had a dev responding to it. However, there is still a lack of background wildlife. I'm talking about butterflies, small birds (even owls at night coming to perch on tree branches, and they leave to go higher up during the day), even fish! Costa Del Sol's beaches just seems totally empty without having fish swimming around. Heck, make an NPC on the boardwalk in Limsa chumming the water and have sharks swimming around it. And sharks in Costa, too.

Also have stray animals prowling the alleyways in Ul'dah. Make the game seem like it's more alive. FFXI added wildlife, why not this game?

This game needs attackable critters.

I tots like this idea, anything that makes the game more life like is a like from me.

Lol, I remember s similar topic last year asking for more wildlife like seeing groups of chocobos in an inaccessible area of the map.... well we got groups chocobos in maps, but they want to kill us!

But yes would be nice to see wildlife that's not trying to kill you. Maybe they can do what they do with those Carbuncles/ retainers popping in occasionally and apply it to wildlife? At the very least ad them to each city

Can you imagine? While fishing you see a flock of ducks just passing by you.

Only if when we kill one a butterfly pops out that our minions eat. :]

Also maybe more, well I don't know what the word is but more life movement from the World enemies we see on screen? Like when you go up to certain enemies they notice you and they get in a defensive position or a Mob just doing a natural call/roar and last but not least maybe catch one of them sleeping?

Such as one of the HW dungeons (sohm al? The aery? Cant remember) where you see sleeping dragons.Stuff like this would definitely improve the overworld

I love this idea. Especially the fish swimming around in the water part. Would be nice to see some random sea shells, starfish, crabs and whatnot on the beaches in areas like Costa and Mist too.

I'd love if there were more wildlife that didn't try to kill you, and not just like random small animals too. Like.. Everything is hostile, why are all the various creatures trying to kill anyone who passes by?
