I feel like we don't need more topics on this but... (Disconnects during Craft)

Can we please continue our crafts from where we left off incase of disconnects? It's not even canceling it to catch a queue or to "retry" a bad craft.

I know it's in place to prevent "exploits", but honestly at this state of the game, with how the red scrip gathering favors are, it's utterly infuriating to lose 90+ minutes of gathering and a weekly locked token because of a random disconnect which may or may not be traced to the servers being at fault.

Me and my FC are pooling our stuff together and doing 2 star crafts. I was streaming it to see the progress of our craft. Our morale and overall attitude went to utter shit when they saw my stream instantly go offline, and me getting a 90k (when I have a consistently stable connection). There's really no reason that we can't log back in to continue our crafts, especially with the circumstances of crafting we're in.

DCing during an end game craft has always been terrifying in this game, but in this patch they've made it truly heartbreaking.

I'd settle for a compromise of not having mats so expensive they're that heartbreaking to lose in the first place. That would solve the problem of reclaim failures and 98% NQs, too!

If it makes you feel better, I just got dced twice on a 5 million gil item.

I start making the Magnificent Mogdelier. I get about halfway through it. Then I dc. Fine, whatever, I got 7 mogcrowns from my airship venture and only need 3 for the recipe. I try again, and before I can even do the third step, I dc again. :mad:

I've been disconnected a few times only for a split second but cannot log back in...having to wait for my char to log out always gets me.

I haven't lost anything over 100k recently... but still this is ridiculous. Its further fueled by the games ridiculously low tolerance for any packet loss. I have never played an MMO with such low internet blip recovery. Its truly terrible.

But again... they should put in an automatic reclaim (if you have the CP for it) even if you don't have the skill. They should also put in an automatic return of all items on any crafts X levels below your level. AKA anything trivial to HQ with a macro should NEVER be lost due to a disconnect.
