Question about Valor Set

I've just returned from a roughly 1.5-year hiatus from the game. I had stopped right after Praetorium. Now that I'm back I've learned the Valor Set is now given alongside the Gallant Set with the PLD questline. Does this mean I'm stuck with Gallant until I can progress to a newer set? If so, that kinda sucks, seeing as there's quite the gap between the two.

Tokens from certain dungeons like Snowcloak can be turned in for them.

Just start over many things have changed and you aren't really that far in.

I am levelling an alt right now, and there are a few changes that have been made in main story quest rewards. You start to get the i110 gear from patch 2.2 storyline iirc. which means you dont have that much to go until you get better gear.

2.1 storyquests rewarded darklight accessories iirc.

So not that far to go until you get better things than your i45 gear :).

Ah, okay. That's kind of a bummer still, but I guess there's nothing to do but persevere. It was pretty funny getting full darklight accessories from essentially fetch-quests though.

Wait until you break level 50. The fetch quests and even the MSQs start handing out HQ gear that is ilvl 130+. Please look forward to it.
