Desynth changes in last patch..

Does anyone know how or what was changed with the 1 star fish desynthesis?

I imagine they took away the platinum coins and maybe gold to silver coin?

Well, unless it was a typo, they didn't change anything with the fish, Storm Chaser, which I believe is the one everyone farms for Platinum Coins. I actually wonder if there were rare drops that had meant to be obtainable, but weren't so they fixed it.

im quite tempted to figure this out... even with max desyth storm chasers are only 50% =.= guess i have a lot of farming to do. good thing they are easy to catch

Seems increased chance to get fine sand & grade 6 dark matter for storm chaser ;) i got last night on my sucessfull desynths 11 nq fine sand, 4 Hq fine sand, 5 grade 6 dark matter, 1 brimstone.

Also as interesting note, not sure but on this or last patch fish storm chaser npc price went down to 29 gil. Also stupendemis fall to 137 gil when before was around 2k.

Btw it still good source of water clusters, 2 or 3 x sucess desynt :)

What does your cul desynth have to be in order to do these?

I was just under 170 cul desynth and had about a 24% chance to desynth storm chasers. Popped two desynth buffs to get up to 34% and would hit them occasionally. At that level you are getting back .4 to over .6 gains on you desynth for each success. That adds up over time.

at 180 (current max) its only 50% lol... such a pain

Fished up a bunch of 60* and chugged HQ tinker's and bacon broth.

Nothing out of the ordinary from the fish listed in the notes yet. Unlucky?

Are you serious, so not even gold coins? I guess they figured it was bringing too much gil into the economy even though you only get a 50% chance..
