CON (CNJ bleh) is a beast now...

so im at treespeak getting ready to do leves and decide to goto the amal'ja camp to see if we got any better, level 44 con> buffs all up protect, shell, stoneskin 2, shock spikes.(the mobs are all 48+ btw) pull 7 amal'ja > sleep > chainspell > blood rite> freeze > freeze BOOM!(took around 7-8 secs) chain 6 all dead..450 on first mob and 500something on last i forget but damn we can really pwn anything now with chainspell AM combo as long as element is right, any other beastly accomplishments post 1.19 would be helpfull to hear before we get the nerf eventually lol

I haven't played very far with Conjurer (in the game for that matter), so forgive me if I'm mistaken, but isn't Freeze now single target with like a 9 minute recast? Could you elaborate a little bit further on how you defeated those 7 enemies? Hearing information like this makes me happy. :)

well thats what it says in the patch notes i know, /aoe on and you will see, oh and only like 1.5 min recast(chainspell makes u insta cast 1 then able to cast another right after, then u gotta wait the minute and a half). and no need to elaborate that was the whole process lol, it was that simple.

My friend and I play CON. We are both 37 and were grinding some last night for fun and I too have noticed the difference. Correct me if I'm wrong but before weren't you unable to collect XP from killing multiple things with AOE? I say this because last night was the first time we really noticed that casting two spells each we could kill about 5 or 6 enemies at a time averaging 100 XP per death (so about 500-600xp) It was pretty awesome.

Yeah before only one of the mobs name color would change to red and would be claimed and even if you had 10 other mobs in the aoe that died at the same time only the claimed (red) mob would give xp.

AM is indeed AoE still and isn't that bad on mobs that are around or below your level. They still blow on much higher ranked mobs and NMs.

Yeah CONj is so much better after 1.19, I went from 34 to 48 in a week after 1.19 and took me a few months to get to 34 before 1.19, I deal so much more damage now it's crazy, but the thing is, I've noticed with the stats that there are so much higher than when physical levels were in, like we get more points per level, hell, I'm not complaining, I just hope the reboot for the Disciplines of Magic they're going to do later this month doesn't bring us back down into support tier.

are you talking about the ixali camp? I don't think there are amal'ja near there...

I'm not sure if he was talking about Amalja or Ixali but I tried this on a 48 Amalja and it barely lost half of its life after two Freezes >_>.
