An idea from my first MMO which could help FFXIV

My first MMO was TERA, and I just remembered something that I think could help out the tacklebox issue to some extent. In TERA, you could buy scrolls which would summon a merchant and someone that would let you access your inventory out in the field.

Something like this could be immensely helpful for gathering classes, especially fisher. Being able to summon a merchant could provide you with different kinds of bait, perhaps cordials in the case of gatherers and perhaps some low level gathering bonus food? But more importantly, the inventory access could let you swap out stuff from you/your retainer without having to trudge back into the city because you ran out of bait. It's still the same retainer you have now but with greater access capabilities. A "phantom summoning bell" if you will.
