Was in DF queue for 587 minutes before maintenance for MSQ -_-;

I really like this game and played FFXI extensively previously. Today really tested me though, a 587 minute queue to enter Rock the Castrum so I can continue on my MSQ and then maintenance!

Hopefully I get a group much quicker afterwards!

Wow, I wonder if that was bugged somehow. :/ I've seen some long wait times before, but nothing even remotely that bad.

What languages have you got your Duty Finder set to? Try setting it to all, if you're not getting in during your normal play time. Are you able to play around midnight, Japan time, (when the daily roulettes tick over?) If so, you shouldn't have problems getting into that instance quickly. It has a specific Roulette, along with the instance that follows it.

Make sure if you're on an english server to only have english clicked as your language when queuing. Sometimes it will put you in a uncommon for your data center language que that is dead. Like say german.

edit- also me and the person above me have different stances on the matter. I just know when I had all languages checked it took much longer for ques sometimes then just english. Say a german only dps ques up and you get put into their group then you have to wait around for a healer and tank who also have german clicked. Maybe im wrong though dunno.

I don't know why it is this way but sometimes it is better to leave the queue and requeue again after about 45 minutes..
Also make sure you are joining duty with all languages ticked (also join in progress helps a lot, but when you are going in for first time, I believe you definitely want to see it whole). :)
Joining all languages when you don't speak them is a bit barbaric but everyone does it + there is an autotranslate + MSQ duties are faceroll so you won't have to speak about tactics and stuff.

If you're still having no luck, and you're waiting on a tank, pop me a pm on here when you're about. I'll happily queue for the main story roulette if I'm free and you're waiting. I love those two instances - epic, even after two years of running them.

Edit: scratch that. I thought Kujata and Cerb were on the same cluster. They're not, apologies :/
