HALP! Heavensward Main Scenario "Keeping the Flame Alive" as BLM

When I went through this mission on my Ninja, it was absurdly easy. Today I finally started dragging my BLM through Heavensward and all was well until the last battle of this mission. I of course instantly targeted the Conjurer and began trying to nuke it. I found this rather difficult to manage while Ilberd is beating the ever living tar out of me. Tried to put some distance, but then the Conjurer would heal back up again the moment I stopped. Have wiped twice. Will try it again once I return, but any advice on how to tackle this as BLM? Will Sleep work on them? I read somewhere it was not very effective. HALP!

Note: It has been a while since I played my BLM, so a lot of the tactics that should be obvious at the time were not so obvious. I CAN DO BETTER!!!

Give up on BLM do it as another class, BLM isn't really meant for FFXIV type of fighting :P

Can you put either the Conjurer or Ilberd to sleep? Bind or slow on Ilberd could work, too.

Sleep everyone. Stay close enough to Alphinaud for heals.

Sleep and kite, also helps to have some potions because Alphinaud isn't the most dependable and you don't want to do over because he was nappin.

Hmmm. At first I was tempted to do just that, but I am very stubborn lol.

UPDATE: TOTALLY JUST OPENED A CAN OF KICKBUTT. Landed all of my spells and knocked out all of the weaklings. THANKS AGAIN FOR THE ADVICE!!

Also, for the sake of future BLMs to come, Sleep only works on the archer apparently. Ilberd and cronies are immune to Bind and slowing effects.
