So I accepted the quest and got the temporary assimilator. The objective is to convert a piece of gear into materia. I've got around 10k SP and the spiritbond gauge is still empty.
Have any of you been able to accumulate spiritbond? I thought maybe it spread across all gear you have on that can gain SB so I went down to just one piece of convertible gear and still isn't going up.
I have got spiritbond on all of my equipped items, I was just killing low levels checking out the new battle system.
Update Spiritbond is going up now, albeit quite slowly. I AM doing high rank gear though so it may take longer.
I've got a sliver on all the gear i used tonight, DoW and DoL. Looks like it's gonna take a long time. But if it all progresses at the same rate i should get multiple materia at once.
Tarred Leather Trousers over 3/4 of the way there. Should be converting soon enough.
Grinded 45k out on Miner tonight, pickaxe is 20%.
I would sugest poping the 1k seals for the patriots choker. seems to be helping a bit.
Went to the bstmen settlement probably got around 70k before getting destroyed by an ungodly huge link. got around 20% from that on all my items. SP is insain in there upwards of 800-1000sp per kill with chain 4-5, you need a full group though the bstmen settlements are death traps.
