UI: Shields should add "Blue" over your Health Bar.

I think as a cool feature, shields should add a "blue" health bar over your current one to make you feel more at ease if you are shielded.

Perhaps different kinds of shields using slightly different colors.


Also, for TP/MP restoration it should look like this. That way you know you are getting those buffs as well.

Angels will cry tears of joy once PS3 support ends. So many UI additions hopefully become available, maybe we get the high res texture pack used internally... it will be a glorious day.

Eh, not even ps3 limitations, it's a vvisual for something that last a few second, it's a waste of resources to be honest because how do you handle information like stoneskin, succor, whm version and I think astro has one now as well as pld ability that grants a similar effect. SO you can have all these shield buffs up for a few seconds is it honestly necessary to have a visual of how much it's absorbing when odds are it might just run out before it's even used?

The only visual representation one needs is seeing the buff wear off, asking them to add in another client notifcation to the part in such a visual manner would be very tricky as seen with trying to implement TP as a visual for party members.
