Cant log in

Hello all I'm new to forum and didnt know where to post but when I logged in the main screen came in fine but where I put my id and password won't appear I need help pls

This happens to me when my internet is being bogged down downloading other things. If you have open browsers, netflix, or other devices connecting to your net or downloading turn em off ^_^!
Tried reloading the client? If on windows, make sure your Windows firewall is allowing FFXIV through.

This may sound weird but go into IE11 and restore all your settings to default. The launcher uses some DLLs from IE11 so if you've changed settings there, it can break.

i imagine you play on comp, you could try to restart your comp then although i dont know if it helps

Im on PS4 not really a PC guy

Also, if you just updated to Windows 10 you MAY have to reinstall the software. Most people dont need to, but some folks have had to.

Edit: On PS4 I havent a clue, the only thing I can suggest is to turn off any other devices that may be hogging your network? If you have a cellphone you can tether your internet thru, you could try that as well. Failing that reinstall FFXIV or contact tech support

I have a support ticket its just crazy cause it was fine when I played this morning

I have seen a fair few posters today saying they've been getting error 2002, which is a lobby server error. It may be possible the issue is not on your end at all, but rather SE's servers.
