I want to know your fishing story! Here's mine: I did 6 mooches back to back! *dances around a little* I've never come close to that before - your turn =^.^=

In the Tangle I had a string of mooches from Assassin Betta to Assassin Betta. My record is 7 times. I have named it Bettaception.

In Dravanian Hinterland,Got Sweetfish HQ just to mooch into another Sweetfish HQ ... 4 times in total.

Before expansion I rarely get HQ chain on fishing, but nowadays the HQ fish always come to me o_o (still level 53)

I did almost this exact same thing but it went Assasssin > Assassin > Assasssin > Ninja.

I hated fishing in 1.0 so much... but I wanted the golden butt subligar.

So I bartered with my husband to level fishing to 30 for me.

I have broken the fishing rod and thrown it away full of hatred because that stupit RNG. Was fun when you did not need HQ only, but since lvl 50 its just pure pain with all that waiting for weather and time...

I was trying to get a HQ letter puffer.
I spent 3 hours a day 4 days in a row. Not a single letter puffer but I knew I was following all the requirements.

on day 4 I was literally crying. I had got to level 60 by trying to catch that one and single fish.
Nothing could make me feel worse

Except...
That one level 58 fisher (or was it lvl 56? I don't remember exactly what level the quest was for)
Who lands next to the Npc, talks to him, casts his lure next to mine, catches one HQ fish, mooches, catches another HQ fish. HQ Letter Puffer.
Waves goodbye to me and turns in the quest...

I got FSH to lvl50 way before the expansion.

Then I put down my rod after trying to get the Titanic Sawfish.

The end.

My luckiest catch:

I decided one day to try to catch The Old Man in the Sea for the first time.

I headed to Rhotano Sea (Forecastle), and cast my line.

I catch Harbor Herring HQ. Lucky! Mooch.

I catch Ogre Barracuda HQ. Wow! Mooch again!

I catch The Old Man in the Sea. Huh. Welp. Guess I'm done here. Bye, everyone!
