i have been using Aikaals rotation as my opener. I have 263 peity without group or food and the past week i have been having problems where as i am about to hit b3 it does not cast or even show that i can cast even though i have enough mp to cast it and out of animation anyone else have this problem or is just me being a n00b. Ty Aikaal for the opener.
Are you able to get a 6 Fire IV's? and have at least 1k mana left?
Blizzard III while in Astral Fire III is around 250-300 mana so you should have more than enough, but you might get hit an issue with Blizzard IV with that timing.
I have not had this problem until this past week and yea i can get 6 f4 and have time to get into b3 before astral buff runs out and then at times i end up using up more mana then before with same rotation then before and i don't change anything. trying to see if anyone else is having the same problem or its just me and i need to go back and see what i am doing wrong.
B3 costs 265 MP in AF3, but 1060 after it expires. My guess would be that you have enough MP to start the cast in AF, but not enough to finish without AF.
With the current amount of spellspeed we can get, hitting even a slight delay means you just take 5 fire 4s instead of 6.
It sucks, but you have to be fluid in what you can and can't do as a black mage. Any demonstration needs to be prefaced with "In ideal situations".
you need 264 piety to cast b3 with this opener ;) ... or you need luck with mans ticks...but it won't work every time without 264 piety cause u won't have enough mana ;)
Just make sure you've got party pie bonus, it's impossible to get opener off (without lucky MP ticks as Alko said) without starting in UI without the pie bonus (unless you get it from somewhere else, but that's wasted since a SCH or AST will give it you for free).
Like in svg we always have a sch and i have used piety food and at times with same rotation i am out of mana or have same problem
How much MP do you have with party bonus? Should have 11400, with party buffs and without food. 11353 without party buff or food.
like 11359 without food or party buff, with food 11427 then with party i think 11474
