I completed the Inscrupable Taste quest and have the Collectable Synthesis status effect on. However when I am making Rainbow Sash of Aiming and HQ'ing 100% i don't get the option after finishing the synth to save it as a collectible. What am I doing wrong?
if a craft displays the % of quality then its either not on or is a non-collectible recipe.
Is there a way to know which recipes are collectables? Or an npc to visit that tells you more info about this? I talked to Loridyana (or whoever) but did not get any further direction other than to turn on the status effect. I thought any recipe 51-55 would be collectable.
The Collectible Appraiser Peeps in Mor Dona and Idyllshire can give you a hint to the day's collectible.
And each recipe lists at the bottom if it is. If it doesn't say then its not a collectible.
When you are selecting the recipe there's that window at the bottom that says things like "quick synthesis unavailable" or "high-quality uncraftable". Unless it says "collectible synthesis available," you can't synth as a collectible.
