Adavanced Character Creation option

Add advanced character creator editor for players that want to adjust every detail of their character all the way down to the hair with sliders like Sains Row IV or Black Desert Online.

It did always bother me that games like dark souls/bloodborne had more a advanced character creator than 14

While I would love to have something like sliders, I don't think we're going to get them because of how much character data would need to be saved. Plus, PS3 limitations. :B

Sliders wouldn't increase character data just the game because they aren't adding anything to the character model themselves they are just adding more cutomozation points to the model. PS3 can handle Siants Row IV character creator and multiple player characters on screen at a time so thats not the problem. The real issue is time and adding the code that would allow us to modify every body part and detail of the character using sliders. The question is their more demand for more content or an advanced character creator.

Apples and Oranges. Ps3 Saints Row IV is not an MMO, FFXIV is, while yes I'd LOVE there to be more options and customization. The best you could expect is something like GW2's with the body types. The reason why each point on a slider would be more data that must be displayed which lets say if the current system has 200 different options for each character model, add sliders in it can spike to 20000 different options. That leads to a drastic strain on performance as it has to display each one individually leading to a lower performance (even on PC's).

According to the Playstaion 4 my characters takes up about a little over 10.59mb adding more options to character customization using sliders wouldn't add tp the character data. The main bulk of the character data comes from saved gear sets, inventory, hot bars and ui settings. Adding sliders to everything on the character model may spike the different options to 20,0000 but the data increase to the character model will be neglible at best. Only thing adding sliders to everythng will do is let the cutimization points float there is no difference in the amount of character data that a 5'6 female hyur takes up versus a 6'6 Female Elezen .

While this is a great idea, as others have pointed out, it's going to take up more data space. Not character data, per say, but it will take more server space to allocate all the added lengths of hair, and various sizes to be added. Doing this would likely jack up the subscription cost to roughly 18-20$/mo, not counting retainer fees that some of us already pay for just to cover the added cost
