What mistake? Thats the way I've been doing it lol

The only thing I'm really seeing there is that the player in the video is mining the clusters directly, instead of going for the fire moraine. Meth -> Meth -> Meth -> Gather typically gets more than 4 clusters and spends no GP. Is that what you're referring to?

Why not go Imp > Imp > Meth? :)

I'll freely admit that I haven't done a lot of testing on that part since it isn't the priority. If Impx2 with no procs still gets to 2/8 then that would be better, yes.

I googled it, and 300 is the minimum for purity 2.

Yes, imp > imp > meth gets to 2/8. I also agree that is the best way to do it because you will always get more value that you get just gathering the 4 clusters normally. The only downside is that your GP isn't regenerating while you're appraising but they would be during the regular cluster gathers.

Also, his rotation on the hidden collectible is terrible. Always start with Imp first. If it doesn't proc DE, use Imp again. If it fails to proc both times, finish with a Meth and collect. That prevents wasting GP. The way he did it, if he hadn't gotten that proc the second time he would have spent GP on a collectible that didn't hit 550.
