How does attack speed (haste) affect your rotation?

Hi! I'm trying to collect some information about how classes are affected with a sudden burst of attack speed/haste. Back then dragoons, for example, had such a tight rotation where everything is (re-)applied so perfectly, that haste would just cause unnecessary clipping.

So I'd like to know what the thoughts are for the career DPS players among us and how a sudden 10% haste would affect you and your rotation. Be it a melee, ranged or caster, I'm interested to know.

edit: as a former blm player blms love haste because they have infinite longterm resources and haste helps them get through later eno cycles. well bye again.

I play as a Ninja and right now with all i190 gear except for the chest and ring, I have over 600 haste. My global cooldown with Huton is down to 2.04 and my god is it terrible. Because my GCD is so short now, I can't use Raiton at all and have constant mudras clipping my skills. Whose idea was it to put so much skill speed on Ninja gear? He needs to be shot. Ninja is probably the only class that gets worse as you get better gear.

Maybe we need to skip Raiton and keep using Doton, since Skill Speed now increase the speed of the ticks lol... Maybe that increase of ticks from Mutilate, Shadow Fang, and Doton could make up for the Raiton.

Haste actually hurts me during AoE fights, so don't give a BLM Haste in a dungeon. But in a single target scenario, Haste is a godsend as it allows us to manage the timers on our stacks much more forgivingly.

Haste can really mess up a Dragoon. Normally we'd be able to use Geirskogul after our 5th T4, and have BotD up between our next Vorpal Thrust > Full Thrust. Getting things like arrow can actually screw us up with our CD timers, so by the time you finish Vorpal Thrust, BotD won't be available. I've also noticed things like Blood for Blood no longer coming off cooldown before Chaos Thrust due to my GCD being too quick.
