BLM, Surecast

Hello guys

First of all Im not here to cry just letting you know.

I see most people having problems with "enochian" and casting distrupts on fights. Basicly BLM is awesome I pretty like it with all its skills but only surecast is kinda lacking of uses with new fire 4 and blizzard 4 rotation. Prob most of us having that problem that inturrupted casting, loosing enochian buff and that makes a hell lot of dps loss.

What Im suggesting is changing surecast into a timered buff (10 sec etc). Coz with enochian we have a limited time and its pretty hard to contain and not loosing It even If you are doing perfect some random attack you get hit by can inturrupt your casting ending up with a mess.

Its just an opinion so Im here to talk and discuss It. If u guys agree with me or not.

its a good idea, but wouldnt help much with savage as most stuff you need to dodge would kill you anyway. Best surecast suggestion ive seen.

The problem with Surecast is it does help to prevent losing your B4 cast if you are taking not intended damage. This would mean your tank either died and you're in trouble or your tank questionably does not threat enough.

Surecast does not prevent losing B4 if you lose Enochian 0.5 seconds before. It does not prevent losing B4 if the mob dies before. Surecast won't prevent losing spells from line of sight also.

Surecast was good in specific situations like Fireball in T5 and Megaflare in Savage T9. It was also used as a CD buffer to bait procs if you were one of those BLMs in 2.x

The change you suggest could be useful for solo and it would be an insane PvP buff which I highly doubt SE will allow all casters to get it but I do see it being useful in solo.

I always thought a Surecast that also let you cast while moving would be more interesting, and pretty simple to balance, just adjust the timer. Enochian just seems to make that much more tastier.

Change the ridiculous trait, 15% chance to reset cooldown, into making it last the whole 10s instead of just the next cast. I'm sick to get interupted by those spiders I gotta pull in alex1. Seriously.

But that won't happen, cuz pvp.

Tons of skills work differently/have different timers in pvp though.

Anyways yes please - honestly the description kind of makes it sound like this anyway and I've wished they would make it more like a guaranteed cast regardless of movement/attacks/interrupts etc for a long time now.

Don't waste your time with it.

In other case the option I got as 2. plan was chaging bliz4 s refresh on enochian. If u ask how basicly time reset of anochian applies in the start of casting instead of ending. I really see this inturrupts as a problem right now it ends up leaving ur rotation and ending up with insta bliz4 so thats what i come up with.

Change it into Freecast: your next spell costs no MP.
