I ask because that when your retainer reaches a certain EXP LV and/or Item LV, the game has always made these available. But now they are not available at a retainer's EXP LV 60? I am guessing this will change in a future patch but it should have been made available upon launch of Heavensward.
They will come eventually, with updates and require higher ilvl/gathering.
Lv55 Explorations already bring back some unique loot.
Mining got me Steel Mainspring (to make a minion)
Botany gets you Lupin Seedling (to make some housing thing)
Fishing gets you Gestahl (a minion!)
Disciple of x gets you different things such as Bear skins for that rug, Iron giant scraps for the minion (crafted) and maybe other things.
Most likely won't get any lv60 high ilvl/gather ventures until 3.1
What shadowsun said. They probably left this open to leave room for growth. Maybe lvl 60s will eventually get all the unspoiled, ephemeral and hidden items retainers can't currently get. Time will tell.
