NMs that I would enjoy hunting

It would be nice to have some more NMs walking around and making the world a little more exciting. A few suggested names could be:

Almighty Apkallu (Apkallu) I've never seen the real one
Bubbling Bernie (Crab) Blue of course!
Capricious Cassie (Malboro) Fun fight back in the day
Deadly Dodo (Dodo) Brown Belt fun, maybe it can drop some craft item for Pug. gear
Earless Earl (Wolf) Just cut of an ear
Funny-Faced Flan (Pudding) Aren’t they all
Green Gobbie (Gobbue) Gobbles up Lalafells
Heavy-Hoofed Hippy (Hippogryph) Colorful Hippogryph
Insincere Imp (Imp) Tricky little guy
Jumping Jack (Beetle) Lumber Jacks cousin
Killer Koblyn (Coblyn) HP should be pretty high on this one
Leaping Lizzy (Raptor) Closest thing to lizards, drops a shoe material
Mischievous Mickey (Mouse) Change to rat if worried about the copyrights
Nutcrusher Nibbles (Squirrel) I’m enjoying the various nut related squirrel names
One-eyed Ogre (Ogre) Not a Cyclops still an Ogre
Phantasmal Puk (Puk) The one in besiege was powerful
Quick-footed Qiqirn (Qiqirn) Runs fast of course
Raging Rex (T-rex) Yoshi, please make a t-rex nm it could look so good in 14
Stray Sherry (Sheep) Mary’s little sister
Tingling Timmy (Jellyfish) ...
Uber Ungar (Drake) German Drake
Vicious Vicky (Slug) Sounds slug like no?
Weenie Weasel (Marmot) Enjoys eating Roegadyn Weenies
Yellow-bellied Yarzon (Yarzon) So scary looking it makes you yellow-bellied
Zombie Zealot (Corpse) Hyur Gladiator type probably

Only took me like 10 minutes to come up with 25 possible NM ideas which could be quick edits of the current monsters in the game. (T-rex excluded) A T-rex might take some time to design but Yoshi's art skills seem pretty good and its not a completely out of place monster either. Just put it near a bunch of raptors and it should fit right in. They don't all have to be super high rank monsters or even aggressive if you don't want. I would just be happy to see some more stuff to play with.

what about xylophonic xylotyl? It could be a musical eft!

I would love to see some side bosses from past FF games get a touch up with some Eorzean lore. If we can re-use summons constantly I don't see the problem with using optional side bosses from passed game.

Doomgaze NM randomly attacking Airship after being implemented? Hell Yes!
Ultros attacking the Ferry? Hell yes!

I'd only be interested in them if they were decent fights or did something nice and were not the usual crap, dodore/goblins/moss was nice because it was kinda grouped but then became stupidly easy.

I like some of your NM names/ideas more than others, but it serves more to remind me that mob distribution throughout the world map is very...skewed? right now.

Thinking about your "Quick-footed Qiqirn" makes me think of Mor Dhona--where there's a bunch of them. I'm hoping they add boatloads of mobs to every zone in the near future, to make NMs a little harder to find--and to increase EXP camp options. Yeah, I'm holding out hope for nice EXP camps.

I'm aware of the need to add more monsters with a better balance in distribution too. I would love to see some Mandragora trotting around Gridania. Flytraps, Funguars and Malboros does not make a healthy forest. :( What I have seen so far though with the adding of new monsters is basically replacing the spawns of older monsters. (Yarzon>Flan; Mistbeard Cove, Dormouse>Diremite; Nine Ivies, etc) There are even areas of the world that have only one monster type walking around. (Qiqirn; Oakwood, Goblin; Five Hangs, etc) I explored enough to touch all the crystal points and noticed the mob groupings pretty much became the same stuff over and over. (Lindworm, Ogre, Boar, Basilisk, Drake, Smolenkos)

So there is a lot of work to be done but if I can only ask for 1 NM, it would be the T-rex. Rawr
