New player looking for playing buddies on Excalibur!

Hi everyone, I'm new to FFXIV as well as MMOs in general. I've joined a Free Company, but it'd be great if I can find other newbies to do story dungeons with, and just generally learn the game together and have fun. Using the Duty Finder and being paired with random people who are more experienced and wanting to rush through is pretty intimidating and nerve-racking for me so it'd be great if I can find some like-minded newbies.
