So... I started about 4 months ago and pretty much was going full catch up on content. I've been on disciple of war for all those months and now that I've pretty much caught up and on Alexander Savage progression, I decided to level my fisher in my spare time. I wanna start and farm fishes but I have no idea which sell well in the marketplace. Can you guys give me an idea of fishes to farm which sell well in the market?
You want to find out which fish are used in class quests, levequests, and crafting recipes. These are the ones really worth selling on the MB (high quality is where the money is for the most part). Lots of fish are worthless, too. Just be sure to check before mindlessly tossing them...
What my forerunner said, just review the fish needed for the classquests(levequests as well) and crafting. But additionally 1 star fish (lvl 60) sell well,
because some people try to shape up their desynthesis(and those are the highest fish available atm).
Another personal recommendation fo me would be: get a Culinarian to 30 and unlock desynth. You can easily level it by desynthing (for you) useless fish.
And if it'll be anything like 2.x the big fish about to come will yield special rewards again for desynthing rare fish.
But if you are not interested in that, go for the Quest ones.

you can check bait, weather, location etc. for each fish; it's pretty comprehensive and a lot of fishers use it.
