How much Perception do I need to effectively farm the script ones?

probably around 575ish for red scrips

should be fine with 570 perception, 600 gp.

Start on adamantite node, 11pm/am ET

Uncover slot 6 and start collecting

Discerning eye, Impulsive appraisal, Discerning eye, Impulsive appraisal, Discerning eye, Methodical appraisal

IF any impulsive procs a DE, replace that DE with Single Mind for an additional ore.

IF your perception is too low that the above doesnt get you in range, though it should around the 570 mark, swap an Impulsive for a Methodical as needed.

To farm them at all? You should be fine with NQ 55 gear. I was gathering them with full Foragers/Lucis, which are equal in stats to the NQ 55 equipment with NQ 56 offhand and NQ 57 mainhand. But, with better stats, you can get more per node. Also, you'll want at least 600 GP for this so you can do rotations like the one suggested above (which looks really nice, thank you!)


EDIT: If your stats are too low for the rotation suggested above to work, try replacing one Discerning Eye with 2x Utmost Caution (on different hits, obviously) for an extra appraisal. That only gets you one item per node, but still, better than zero if you can't get collectability high enough otherwise. This gets you only a small boost, but it's sometimes all you need to get from worthless to minimum collectability.

I was gathering Blue Scrips with 600 GP, level 55 NQ gear except HQ ilvl140 belt, ilvl140 off hand and ilvl150 main hand as a level 60. As long as you can gather 1 level 57 blue scrip gear, you can slowly work up to Trailblazer gear.

For blue scripts, you will still want to get the 570 perception which is easily obtainable without melds.

hit adamantite at 11, pop a cordial head to okzundu for the node at 12, head to the hinterlands node at 2.

Rotation to use is below. 3 collectables per.

Discerning eye, Single mind, Methodical
Discerning eye, Methodical
Methodical

Adamantite is red, not blue.

May as well get the reds as well considering the first question as how to farm red, second was blue from the same poster. But its ok, come into a thread, read the last response and make an assumption without looking into context.

He never asked how to farm red ones.. perhaps you should have read the posts?
