Redirect thoughts of Ifrit loot

The messages from recently released Ifrit loot (weapons) did not mean to claim that those are the only best look weapons can be made/obtained in FFXIV ever. The important message SE tried to send to players is: In FFXIV, it is possible and do-able to make visual-specialized weapons for specific heavyweight enemies. It's a big step for this game in many meanings.

Players can see from weapons' appearances and intuitively link them to their original hosts. No more weapon with just a tag with a monster name on it but look exactly the same with other cheap ones. Therefore, "how to make such weapons have more visual specializations" becomes more important than "how to make generally nice looking weapons". Furthermore, since making such visual-specialized weapons is now known do-able in FFXIV without problems, then SE is surely capable to make other general nice looking weapons in the future and have players to obtain them from other sources, such as crafting using rare mats.

Now we know Ifrit loot are apparently made using Ifrit horns as their signature/characteristic, and, we also know Ifrit is not the only one beastman god. So... maybe it's time to start discussing what Titan loot looks like (･ω･)?

I agree with you, these were my thoughts too and it is pretty exciting when you think about it, what the future holds. Thrilling indeed!
I think it's nice for a change to have some flare to weapons, my main concern however is for SE to keep their value for the long-term. I would hate to see all newer weapons outperform Ifrit weapon rendering it useless as cool as it looks. That's something that needs addressing. I think each summon's weapons should not excel over the other, instead offer something unique and different so all the cool Summon weapons will be used for a long time to come.

Just another thought. Since now SE proved they are capable to add new designed 3D-objects into FFXIV (and the game can actually handle it), isn't it more amazing if we can have visual-specialized armor-set as well?

For example, Ifrit armor-set can be like the upper row of this, and Titan one can be like lower row of this.

Let's see how hard SE can push (´∀｀)

This has been my opinion all along. Given that Titan is the other primal that's readily in the .dats, he'll likely be the "second primal battle" in 1.20.

Given the nature of the earth element, I'd anticipate armor and other defense-related items from him. Also I expect them to be bulky.

Leviathin makes an appearance in the opening cut scene for those that start in Limsa Lominsa. I'd expect his, and whichever wind, thunder and ice primals there are to be smaller by nature.
