I think it would be a good idea to add a cartographer's table to craftable furniture. One that you could interact with and place a deciphered map in your inventory on for your party members to see. It would make treasure hunting more sociable and fun. Thoughts?
As nice of an idea this may be, there is a flaw in it such as the fact you'd have to go to your FC house to use it. If anything, there should be a "Share Map" option, similar to how a teleport notification pops up, that allows your party members to view the map so they can help find the spot on the map.
I see what you are saying, that would make more sense. Not as much fun, but much more practical!
