shadowsear <can you fix it>

In the patch notes there is no mention of thm changes. i find this a little disappointing. The thing i was hoping most for was for shadowsear to be fixed. Pre-nerf it was a powerful spell worthy of 5 action points, 90 second timer, and over 100mp, now it does the same damage if not worse then banish or scourge. Please make it more powerful since we already have 2 spells that are in the same class (banish and scourge). I would say to lessen the mp and lower action cost and the 90 second recast timer, but then we'd just have another banish or scourge proportioned spell.

As it stands now it is worthless, please fix.

Or the could up the damage on a 4ac, 172mp, 180s cooldown spell to be better than banish and scourge, instead of further nerfing thm actions, the damage spells in question, to be at the same damage level as the new main healers elemental spells?

I have noticed that Shadowsear ends up being a big waste of MP too. Banish II/scourge II > Shadowsear atm, and only cost 3 ac, 44mp, and 10s recast. You could do more damage in 1 scourge or banish than with 1 shadowsear for 1/4 the mp cost.

GJ, sounds like they did just this. LS mate says conj spells are doing more than scourge and banish now.

what determines thm spell strenght now, int or mind

When I saw no thm patch notes, I thought it was to say "we gimped you enough already, and no we're not ever gonna try to change that"

as did i, which was why i made this thread. i thought it would have mentioned shadowsear in there somewhere. thm really is quite broken right now. I havnt tested anything besides damage spells though. maybe other things are stronger.

Shadowsear is not broken, it works just like it's description says. If you want more damage out of it, you need to manipulate your circumstances. It's not a traditional nuke.

If your scourge or banish is hitting for 1k.....damn gimme your thm build man... because my scourge/banish htis for anywhere 200 to 300 and my shadowsear hits for 700 to 1k


So either stop talking bs or make a coherent post TC.
