New Patch Death to Craft/Gather

This guy pretty much explained it all.. But just so you get it.. in 72 weeks I might have 1 of everything crafted just for myself.. All the pve ilvl180s are just instantly out-scaled due to time investment/cash and the fact there are ilvl190s-210s in the game already for FREE that don't require 3 weeks of materials per combine from crafters/gathers/marketboard. Just to boot.. ilvl 150 still your top end crafted wep.. enjoy

That forecast is essentially irrelevant as it will likely go uncapped in time just as tomestones go uncapped after a time.

That's not to say it's not insane though. It is quite insane.
I said in another thread already, and I can say it here as well;
Move materials and favors from red scrips to blue scrips.
Increase the scrips rewards for various turnins.
Lower the cost of gear obtained with red scrips.

Main issue is they aren't doing enough with the system, they made a bottleneck with progression and that's a bad thing. Compare it to DOW/DOM they have options, You can do primals for better weapons, obtain gear through dungeons, gain law tomes for better gear, hunt/law tomes to upgrade that law gear, gain esoteric for better gear, do alexander normal and savage to upgrade even further.

Currently DOH/DOL has get scrips, more scrips, more scrips and you can only get 450 a week, you can only fend for yourself, sell or try your luck at crafting the gear in question.

The proposal. Let leves be part of DOH/DOL, we have the collectibility system that is being underutilized and could serve as a more fleshed out system by expanding on it. Why not have "endgame" leves for DOH/DOL that require collectibility turn ins, this way players can't just by their way to victory. You need an item of 6k collectibility and in turn you are rewards with enough for 1 attempt at a rare synth. Maybe have the level cost 5.

Let's put it into poerspective currently I think we get 6 leves a day, So at cap of 100 you get 25 attemptes and then 42 a week so that's another 8.

But basically would is really be breaking the back/breaking the system if players could obtain 5x8 of Dyrad Sap a week rather than it being tied to the current system? Would it be so bad to have DOL leves that reward players with Favors but only if they can bring back a high collectible item?

See the system itself isn't the problem, it's the lack of options, when there is only one route to take and people don't see another way to go about it it is frustrating. If SE simply added leves to overlay on top for crafting/gathering system it would make everyone happy they could further use up materials and the collectible system by having collectible required items through leves and those leves offering rewards that would allow us to gear up.

and now people can get their pve gears by y'know, pveing.

But hey, u can craft glamour prisms and housing items like a beast!
