Thoughts on a few DRK abilities

I've been reading a number of guides and talking with other DRKs and combining this with my own experience with the class. I am just curious what other DRKs have found to be the case with their tanking.

In regards to single target combos, I've found using dark arts + soul eater combo to be the obvious best choice if I have enough enmity. However, what about when your MP dips a bit? Without an available blood price, do you opt for a delerium combo so you can get some more MP back while doing a bit of dmg? I've been debating between doing that vs a non-dark arts boosted soul eater. It's only 20 potency difference...

Unleash seems to have little value once you get abyssal drain. Unless I am just starved for MP, I have found abyssal drain to be the better option. What are your thoughts on this? I've also found pulling with abyssal drain on large groups like in A2 to be pretty fun :).

I've noticed some guides saying to pull with salted earth. I've found pulling with an unmend followed by an immediate plunge to be more effective. I like to weave in my salted earth right after I start my power slash combo.

If your MP is at 2k start building it back up. 2k save as a reserve for emergency. On pulls if you know the fight plant SE where you know the mobs will spawn plunge into them or run to them and hit unleash. Only use AB on multiple mobs that run away from you, think of it as an aoe unmend. Don't use BP if tanking one mob.

In short:

If you're main tanking, non-boosted SE is slightly better because of the health back. Otherwise delirium is better.

Abyssal drain is fun, but generates roughly the same enmity as unleash. Unleash is much better if you say, offtank in savage faust so you can keep enmity up with a lower mana cost, letting you have more for dark arts dark dance.

Don't pull with salted earth. Ever. You lose the ability to decide the position of mobs/bosses using it.
