The scrub hurdle
I find myself trying to unlock content new/old and I'm faced with elite bs. You can't run titan ex in party finder unless you know the fight but undersized parties clear stuff so easily anyway. As a newer player who didn't experience this content first hand I've become a second class citizen. Even when groups are looking for my role I get told no where learning the fight is a 5 minute video and the mechanics are nerfed to all hell.
The lack of a helpful party finder/roulette community is what drives the static/fc comminities in this game. People will go out of there way to find a small group of non jerks. If it wasn't for a few fc mates I wouldn't have unlocked the few ex primals I have but even they doubt my abiliy to grasp simple mechanics. Why are people in this game so doubtful and so rude when it comes to others running something for the first time? Alex savage sure, ex 2.0 primals? Really?
Givng bonus labels you automatically as a incapable. Nobody wants to help the community grow they just want to say "git gud".
Also inb4 git gud

You are not a scrub for being a new player; your just new. Everyone was new once, funny how some folks at endgame have forgotten that. My advice would be to find a different FC; if it's casual/social FC, then them doubting your ability is ridiculous and you should just go.
Oh, and never be afraid to say your new; have to learn sometime.

Go for "undersized" party of level 60 and learn through that.
You get experience... So you can attempt it for real some day, if you so want to.

I never tolerate jerks. We're all adults or at least old enough to learn to be; you wanna be mean, you get outta my party. Overcoming adversity makes the accomplishment better.

Oh that's the reason I don't play as tank on 2.0 EX primal. I'm always scared with "What if I fail to aggro? What if I fail to tank swap? Is my place is correct to hold aggro" something like that.

If you were on my server, I'd gladly help you out :D
As far as people not willing to help in old content, sadly that is human nature.
If you are a stranger, people are more inclined to say "No." purely because they have no attachment to you. Hence why FC/Linkshells are such a necessity in order to form relationships. Its a lot harder to say no to a friend than it is a stranger.

Also if your truly know the fight you can always message the group organizer for the farm in PF to see if you can join. I have weird lucky that I cleared t5 and titan in DF. But back when ppl where still doing the extreme weeklys, asking the party to join advising them I knew the mechanics got me the clear and multiple farm runs for my Ifrit ex clear of course this won't always work but the worst they can do is say no
