You thought it was bad? Oh it gets so much worse...

So I just found out you get on average 3 favor mats per favor buff. You get 9 of these a week for a total of 27 a week on average. You need 60-80 of these to craft ONE item depending on what it is. So now lookie here!

You have to spend 30 hours of gathering over 3 weeks and a weeks worth of red scrips (and 1-2 mil to craft the scrip items) along with all the other mats to craft ONE 2 star every 2-3 weeks.

Let that sink in for a while. One chance to craft a 2 star every 2-3 weeks. That's slower than the 66 weeks required for the full scrip set.

Anyone who blindly defends Square at this point is just nuts. This system needs scrapping ASAP.

Edit: Nevermind, as Alexiell pointed out you get 140 ish a week on average (which is still way too few)

Sounds like the system requires the price of every single thing to be cut in half, and for the caps to be removed.

Anything Red Scrip related is going to require serious effort... but it should not also be supremely grindy AND gated to boot.

no, you get 9x5 favors each week, which doesnt mean everything is fine of course, but 5 times better than you thought :P

Ahh yes, you are correct. But indeed it is still ludicrous.

Indeed, as you also have to "Gather" three times longer. Between 4.5 to 10 hours to cap your Gathering scrip. Then 11 hours to use up all of your Favors. Every single week. 15-25 hours before you have something tangible in your inventory.

All for items you can't personally trade in unless you cap your Red Crafting Scrip as well. Insanity.

You've just given me a sad. I am about to hit 56 on my miner and hoped it was going to be fun. Sounds like the grindiest of grinds without any satisfaction at the end. =(

I'll make sure to dig us a hole in the floor cuz thats where a lot of us will be if we want to progress lol. Gotta "slowly" climb out....
