Help Please! 2 of my mains stuck and unable to perform actions, have perm. d/c icon.

PS4 user: DSL connection: AirPort extreme router: Two of my main chrs are now out of commission for the second time. Its only happend twice in 40 levels but now they're both stuck with the d/c icon next to name. I can create a new chr just fine and play (I'm assuming until they get stuck for whatever reason). I can log in just fine but then the disconnect icon appears next to my name and will kick me out 5 min later. It doesn't seem to be on my end because my connection is great and works for new chrs perfectly its just when i do d/c (which is very rare) it seems to get stuck and be permenant. the first time it was fixed was after a maintenance but no such luck this time been a week now...would love some responses. if this doesn't get resolved or explained to me soon i fear i need to stop my subscription, it shouldn't take this much work to play the game...

Where did those two characters log out? I only ask because certain areas (Mor Dhona, Idyllshire, Foundation, etc.) have a lot more players around than other areas so when your game connected it would have to download a lot more data and maybe it's saturating your Internet connection (unless you have really slow Internet access this seems unlikely, but it's still possible!)

Something to try, when you login, quickly try and teleport (anywhere less populated like Southern Thanalan etc). You might get disconnected that time still, but if the teleport goes through then you'll at least zone in the next place which might work (the original zone would still be a problem though assuming you wanted to go there again!)

The two locations are south shroud, and upper la noscea. That was a good idea, i tried but just can't perform any actions before the icon pops up. Strange though cause i can chat to my FC for 5 min but can't perform actions kinda odd.
