Having trouble Getting and holding aggro after level 50

I'm a PC user, no game pad. And I'm an old man (53) so I'm a little slow on the clicking.

Here's my problem;

Now that I've reached level 50 I'm noticing it's taking me longer to get and hold aggro.

In defiance I generally throw a tomahawk, an Overpower while I turn the Mob(s) away from the group.

Then I use my combos Heavy swing, sunder, Butchers block. or Maim and Storm's eye.

Then while stuff is cooling down I generally hit with stuns, fracture... whatever isn't cycling.

In my current armor set my stats are Str=395, Dex=190, Vit=495 with HP at 6373 ( in Defiance )

I'll loose aggro ofter to Lancers, but sometimes healers ( please dont laugh too hard ) Which may mean I'm being OD'd by the lancers but doesn't explain the healers unless I'm not mitigating the healing enough with Stormwind's -50% healing reduction.

Basically something is very wrong. Any ideas?

Its your gear, you need a heavy upgrade on all of it. Assuming your profile is your current load out. Everyone is running ilvl 150 or higher. Its going to hard against those people, even level synched. Plain answer - you're not generating enough enmity.

You need to do more overpowers and I would recommend cross classing flash from the Paladin to help you manage the TP in instances where you need to generate more aggro than you thought you would.

Also, after 50, you will get a lot of really geared players and if you, yourself are not as geared, there will be times when you have difficulty holding threat on everything.

Start looking at the gear other folks are wearing to see if they are outclassing you, so you can adjust your pull and how many overpowers you need to use to hold the enmity.

It is my current loadout ty.

You're gear is likely insufficient. 6k sounds mad low for someone level 53 but I haven't been 53 in about a month so maybe I'm wrong.
Attempt Tomahawk + 2 Overpowers or Tomahawk + Flash + Overpower and you'll likely be fine. If your worried about a dragoon just throw in the heavy swing at the start following the tomahawk. Full Str players roll at 12/13kk health with defiance off at 60...your 7 levels below and have half the health while in defiance. Probably your gear.

If you do have the expansion, run the MSQ and you'll get some decent gear upgrades, side quests too. If you don't have the xpac start farming for poetics that gear will atleast get you up quite a bit.

While you did not provide a lot of details i can tell you Warriors with defiance have one of the easier times keeping AoE aggro.
Always look at your threat meter... this is a must for all classes but a tank if your red is blinking you are in danger of losing aggro.

Assuming you dps isn't all focusing random mobs you rarely have an issue with aggro until max level when ilevels could make you struggle with aggro. When i played Warrior I would overpower twice before i start rotating into hate combos. Cycling through the mobs on you two enmity attack helps quite a bit. If i know we are doing massive aoe having flash as a cross class can be helpful for helping to keep hate while not expending TP. Past this with what you have said it is too difficult to know any other issues you may be having.

Have you completed the main story scenario? (By which I mean have you reached a point in the game where it wants to send you to Ishgard after retreating from Ul'dua?) If you haven't, stop running dungeons for a while and work on those story quests. You'll be rewarded with Item level 110 armor and weaponry that will make things a lot easier for you. There's a particularly nice ax called Conqueror that should solve your enmity problems in 50 content and below.

Your gear is your problem. Until you get better gear from dungeon spam you should be wearing the i115 gear you can buy from the vendors at the pillars or buy some ironworks pieces with any poetic tomes you have saved. Secondly you desperately need to get gladiator up to 22 for provoke
