Black screen on loading
	
	
		Starting last night, after I open the client (ps4), it displays the initial splash screen before it loads the login screen, then hangs indefinitely on a blank black screen and I can't get to the login screen. I can still access the playstation menu from here, it's not frozen, and I can play other games and access the internet. I haven't changed any settings recently. I've reset the ps4, the router, the modem, deleted the client and reinstalled it fresh, and I'm now out of ideas.

 it's been 6 days like this for me and other members already sent an email to square without a single reply. unable to log in to square account because the sign in box ¡s gone!

		I ran into the problem tsviet is describing yesterday after updating the game and logging out. I've opened and closed the application more times than I want to count, turned off my PS4 repeatedly, restarted my router, reinstalled the game, restored my licenses, clicked on the black screen, refreshed the menu itself...everything. It's not a lag issue. I've had similar lag issues, but EVERYTHING loads slowly. It isn't as if the login section of the main menu just doesn't exist anymore. It isn't a PSN issue or I couldn't open up the game at all. I sent a ticket to Square last night but haven't gotten a response thus far. I'm about ready to call support and see if I can't get through that way.

		Already sent a ticket to square about 4 days now and no response just yet and did all the same things Kytelian has done, I think this is starting to become a bad problem for many members. if any of you have a solution or the ones reading this have faced this problem before please please share it!

		I think my issue is unrelated, I didn't even make it that far. I experienced a hard freeze last night (hopefully just a fluke and not indicative of a hardware problem, yikes!), and after a reboot, I was able to log in, and the client is installing the Heavensward patch now. Just have to wait and see where I end up now.

		I didnot have much faith in this solution from the start... However, miracle happened. The login window appeared again and problem solved. Tried couple of times all worked. So here is what u should do:
1. Back up your savedata on either usb drive or PSN PLUS cloud
2. Factory reset your PS4. 
3. When done, reinstall FF14. 
Done.
