You do realize there is more gear tiers now because they added a whole new mode that didn't exist in 2.0 which is normal level raid.

Actually there is the exact same amount of gear there was in 2.0.
Law = Philosophy
Alex NM = LotA
Eso = Mythology
Alex S = Coil

2.0 didn't have lota, Lota came in 2.1. So we actually do have more gearing options - and 3.1 with 24 man will probably just expand that.

24 man raid should drop i 200 gear since 24 man is always been 10 ilvl below the hardest raid.
