I'm done (the stress of getting this game working is not worth it)

Today I installed the newest patch 3.05, only to attempt to log on and get the error that I needed to patch again. After attempting all fixes on the forums and on reddit, I uninstalled the game and attempted reinstalling it.

I have been trying to patch for over two hours, and I am now getting "unable to download" errors every time I patch. All fixes are not working.

I am so over this. Why can't SE get these issues resolved so we don't have to deal with uninstalling/reinstalling 20+ gigs of files any time there is a problem?

I had just resubscribed and purchased Heavensward, and now I am regretting it. I hate that I have wasted so much money on a game that I consistently have to fight with just to get it to work.

I'm done.

It's funny though, 'cause it seems to be working for several thousands of people. Mine's worked fine, even on launch day for HW up until now, so maybe there's an incompatibility with some software on your end.

Have you checked for anything that might block or restrict your internet access excessively? Checked for free space on your storage device? Tried running it with admin rights?

Your post says nothing. It's a non-content thread, we can't help without information. This is just a cry for attention, so why post this under technical support?

Get your computer down to the basics, bare minimum. Disable everything running in the background and I mean everything. By pass your router and hardwire straight into your isp box w/e it may be.

Run inetcpl.cpl from your search/run box. Go to the Advanced tab and scroll to the bottom. There will be a section about the encryption methods--make sure all the SSL and TLS versions are enabled.

Can I use the method in PS4?
