Does anyone know if you need the blue scrip recipe books to get red scrips?

I havent got the recipe books yet, but does anyone know if the recipes in those books will be needed to earn red scrips?

If i had to guess, you will need to get the master books. I bet we have to make 1 star crafts to get red scrips.
